CRPA-TESTby K9 Electronics
ANTI-JAM TEST TECHNOLOGY — K9 ELECTRONICS LTD

Test GPS & GNSS anti-jamming antennas.

AWSG is a portable GNSS RF test platform for evaluating CRPA and adaptive anti-jam antenna systems. It gives antenna developers, system integrators and resilient-PNT teams a practical way to exercise anti-jamming performance during development and integration — without making “CRPA” the only route by which customers can find the technology.

Add a dynamic waveform layer to CRPA testing

GNSS simulators, conducted wavefront systems, anechoic chambers, record/replay systems and field trials each answer different engineering questions. AWSG is designed to complement these established methods by adding controllable, repeatable interference waveform profiles for development and adaptive-response evaluation.

Conventional CW, noise and defined interference scenarios remain essential for baseline characterisation. AWSG extends that work with time-varying and non-stationary profiles that allow engineers to observe how adaptive processing behaves while interference conditions are changing.

Already using a GNSS simulator or conducted wavefront test system? AWSG can be used as an additional specialist interference source within a layered CRPA test programme — enhancing existing laboratory capability rather than replacing it.

Baseline Characterisation
Defined CW / noise scenarios
Controlled and repeatable cases are fundamental for establishing null depth, interference rejection and comparative performance.
Additional Test Dimension
Changing interference conditions
Frequency, amplitude and waveform characteristics can be varied with time to investigate adaptive response, recovery and convergence behaviour under controlled conditions.
AWSG Adds This Capability
Adaptive-response waveform testing
Five configurable waveform profiles, rapid profile switching and multi-channel options. Designed to work alongside existing GNSS simulation, wavefront, chamber and field-test methods.

5 confirmed profiles. Two form factors.

Both AWSG variants share the same five confirmed waveform profiles. Each provides a distinct, repeatable interference condition for characterising CRPA adaptive processing — deployable from a rugged case system or a pocket-sized machined aluminium unit.

MODE 01
Non-Stationary Random
Continuous pseudorandom noise with time-varying statistics and amplitude — not discrete frequency hopping. Configurable non-stationary behaviour intended to exercise covariance estimation and AGC response.
MODE 02
Fast Wideband Sweep
Continuous swept-frequency profile across the full 1100–1650 MHz range with configurable sweep rate and span, evaluating adaptive response while the interference frequency is changing faster than the nulling algorithm can settle.
MODE 03
CW Tone
Continuous wave single-frequency output at precisely controlled amplitude. Provides a controlled reference condition for baseline and A/B comparison testing.
MODE 04
Linear Ramp
Linear frequency-ramp profiles for evaluating processing behaviour under controlled time-varying spectral conditions.
MODE 05
Adaptive Cycling
Automated profile cycling that changes waveform conditions between successive test intervals for repeatable stress-testing.

Two variants. One architecture.

Three reasons organisations choose AWSG

Accessible Engineering Test
Professional-grade CRPA testing shouldn't cost a quarter-million pounds
Validate your resilient PNT designs against realistic GNSS waveform generation at a price point that puts professional-grade capability on every engineer's bench. Portable multi-channel RF waveform generation intended for development and integration work without tying every engineering iteration to a laboratory facility.
Portable Integration Test
Don't bring the platform to the lab. Bring the lab to the platform.
Portable GNSS waveform generation for development and integration testing. AWSG complements, rather than replaces, chamber, phase-coherent wavefront and formal qualification testing.
Faster Development Iteration
Support faster engineering iteration with a dedicated waveform source
Provide development teams with dedicated access to repeatable GNSS-band waveform generation. Iterate on adaptive beamforming code against realistic non-stationary waveforms without booking shared test facilities. This can reduce reliance on shared facilities during iterative development.
